2019 Clinix Stix Morewa Soccer Challenge Media Launch

As we kick off our 15th annual Solomon Stix Morewa challenge for 2019, with a media launch, followed by highly anticipated matches. This growing partnership between Clinix Health Group, and SFA has been at the forefront of maturing and guiding young and upcoming South African football talent. Stix, as called by those in the football fraternity, was very passionate about football and believed that soccer could help with the development of the youth and also realise their potential.  It is in his memory that Clinix Health Group honours him through the annual Clinix Stix Morewa Soccer Challenge.

The Challenge has evolved into a tournament that not only includes young Under 9’s playing but has also illuminated the importance of female players being involved in the ‘beautiful game’. We share this moment to further encourage football development within our communities, focusing on the growth and increasing number of young footballers in Soweto.
